Books Read: 2018

I set out in 2018 to read more books than I had in 2017… which was to say more than a handful. To write well, I need to be well read, widely read. This year I managed 32 books, 11 of which were comics, 3 of which were novellas. I probably started another 3-5 which I didn’t finish. For the first time I’m letting myself set aside something I’m not enjoying instead of forcing my way through to the end. Overall it’s made my reading experience a lot more enjoyable. And I can honestly say I recommend pretty much everything on this list.

Next year I hope to write a little blurb review for each book I read, but as this list is already a little late, I figured I’d put it out there and focus on working forwards instead of back filling what I’d like to see done.
